Coming back to my car after all the mods and running it for over 25000 kms,

The car seems to be running fine and neat.

Using kbx power brakes on the car, although it brakes better than any 800's around but still its tad bit slacky for a complete halt.

Need to look into the braking aspect as on now .

Some electrical issues cropping up. My Stereo has cultivated a habit of playing ON and Off games.

Need some advice on them?

Yes a weak alternator might be the issue, Thanks harry.

Silencer mod not sure what you've done.

New find:
Use 250 ml engine oil into your fuel tank every full tank fill, this improves engine life and runs so smooth.

thanks Mridul for digging up this thread requirement.

Your 800 looks cool with those wheels and fogs, But confused with those 2 different combination of fog lamp fittings.

I am getting what i intended to do.

Any pics on the rear Square Fog and arial.

Hi
The one which is shown first is the current one which I relocated recently since I changed my headlamps to 2007 spec with motorized levellers..the other was prior to the relocation..Incidently I have HID's on the H/L & 100 W H3 as fogs..Just a simple question why would you want an ariel in the back when u have the facility on the RHS roof...rear fogs..U can go for the Hella rectangles...

You can let me know your requirement I can suggest you the brand...

Infact the front fogs would be changed to large size spots to give the RALLYE look...In the process of finding the shells for fitting the beams....

Mridul,

If you look at the pics of my M-800 on the thread, the ariel on the RHS has been removed and flattened with metal.

The rear arial looks real sporty fitted along with the Square Fog(Hella) as you've mentioned.

Thanks, will update new pics once done.

Finally guys my engine is running smooth now completing 25000 kms after overhaul.

I am able to go upto 4200 rpms and the top speed tried as on now is 135 kmph.

Need to time my acceleration sometime later.

Any other 800's close or better pls post.

FFE Set-up

Hi all,

I have been experimenting about the Free-Flow-Exhaust set up on my M-800 since 2 yrs. What i see with different setups are not a major difference.

1) Initially started with the end can or the muffler, took out the MGP muffler or the tail pipe used an after market set up
Result- Minor increase in pickup and a bit throaty on top end speeds. But never gave me any great boost.

2) Used a header with the after market tail pipe
Result-The setup never worked properly and never made any difference.

3) Fitted a Free-Flow-End can with the header.
Result- Great race car feel, throaty exhaust, great pick up, great rpms and good top end speeds.Great increase in HorsePower, lot of in-cabin noise

Although the 3rd set up lasted in my car for over 2 yrs and had been performing well, with lot of cabin noise, i started feeling my cars become too noisy and felt the need to silence it..

Performed a new set up

4) Retained the headers, removed the Free-Flow-End can and refitted a new MGP tail pipe.
Result-Car is running very silent, good initial pick up and also good at top ends.

But what i feel is someting strange. Is the complete Free Flow Exhaust just added for Mental Horsepower or does it do some justice with the set-up.

Somehow after my Dads pestering i've gone and taken this step to keep the car silent, but my mind seems to work the other way round.

Is there any different kind of FFE Setup for the M-800 where i can get the 3rd set-up to work with lesser cabin noise.

stuff the free flow end can / muffler with lots of glass wool to get the silent effect. although i love the lots-of-in-cabin-noise part. i usually keep all windows opened to enjoy that effect in my padmini - something which i miss in my gtx.

Will that lower my in cabin noise and will i be able to rev as earlier?

With the present set up my mileage has actually increased to approx 18-19 kmpl.

I cant be more happy than this,

But i miss the race car feel.
