@ akshay, these models are actually ion production.

P.S; With all these options available to them, they had to lauch THIS version here! SAD! The prev gen wagon (the one with the clear lens lamps) looked good. the current one is pathetic!!

I got a "Bridgestone Potenza GIII, 175/60 R13 77H" on my wagonR. Do I need to fit a spacer? The driving was fine. The only time that I felt odd was while parking in reverse. The GIII looks awesome. Pity I haven't got the mag wheel for it. Any suggestion on the alloys make for her?

Hey just reviving this thread.

I really hate the brakes and suspension in my WagonR. Just wanted to know if I can upgrade the brakes somehow?? As far as I know bigger discs wont fit in the 12" Rims. Has some one upgraded the brakes of a WagonR??

Also the same for suspension as well. Pls post the estimated cost of the mods as well.

@Omatunto, I know its an old forum, but would like to help the new team members.

I have recently upgraded my stock disk's to 13" Plati alloys and to 155/65 R 13 Micheling XM1+. I feel its an upgrade worth a try.

Re: Wagon-R Mods

Hello folks, I am posting something I that did yesterday to my Blue Eyed Wagon R 2012 September model.

I wanted to reduce the boxy looks of the doors from the side, and so did some stickering to impart a sleeker looking side profile, plonked the alloys, and took up a nose job as well (which is still work - in - progress)

Blackening of window panes / pillars, Eagle brand alloys

A view of the modded car from the rear

Some chrome on the grille to add some spunk to the looks !

mooza no offense , IMO looks overdone the rear ,sides and the fuel tank lid. I would have preferred a more subtle looking car with a chunkier set of alloys and zilch stickers.

Those stickers have made it look even whackier now,but then to each his own so peace .

Hi Rjstyles, thanks for your honest (lone) feedback !

The number of responses to Wagon R mod threads is quite low, which surprises me, considering it is one of the largest selling cars, and hence the thought of stirring things up a bit on this thread with some in - your - face mods

The fuel tank sticker was indeed looking a tad too much, so I peeled it off today. I feel it looks a bit better now.

The alloy design was a combined decision, can't reverse this one for a while.

However, I had a closer look yesterday at the alloys, and realised that there was a lack of a clear-cut borderline as to where the alloy wheel ends and the tyre begins !
So I added some silver lining to the wheel rims today.

And yes, I have now toned down the nose with just some subtle borders all around the front grille.

Re: Wagon-R Mods

Hi,

I have seen lot of people make changes to the headlight. Has anyone tried to remove the orange color of indicator panel in Wagon R headlight.

Following is example of this from another forum

Before
Wagon-R Mods-before.jpg

After
Wagon-R Mods-after.jpg

I am talking about the orange part in headlight. Has someone tried to remove the outer cover of headlight and tried removing the orange color. I am not sure whether its removable to plastic glass itself is colored.

Regards.

Re: Wagon-R Mods

I think the plastic glass itself is colored. These are clear lens headlamps and I don't think they have any kind of removable layer on these. Please correct me if I am wrong.
