A little reading up and I found out what an upgraded diverter valve does

Quote:

Replaces the factory-fit Bosch diverter valve to provide a faster response and more reliable operation. Reduces lag and sharpens throttle-response - meaning faster acceleration and improved driveability. Same width as your factory Bosch valve and only 20% taller. Fits under engine covers for VWs and even in the Porsche Twin Turbo.
  • The Hyperboost valve reduces turbo lag as it recovers faster when you 'hit the throttle' reduced lag = faster acceleration.
  • Throttle modulation is smoother and feels more accurate under your foot.
  • These valves also perform accurately and reliably time and time again, even in the most extreme conditions.
Inadequate/defective standard valves have extended lag, loss of boost, sluggish throttle response. A HyperBoost valve can clear up the previously mentioned problems and offers reliable action, time and time again. If your car has been chipped, a HyperBoost valve will optimise the performance benefits.

I still dont know what it does though lol:

Nice pics! Some of the alloys look really good. I like the body style of the Octy- one really versatile car!

Soo , ; :)
any MTM tuned Skoda s here?

Hey everyone,

I have a golden/sand colour Octy 1.9TDi. I already startes souping it up and I am getting a body kit soon. I need advice of the paint and spoiler. Do you think I should get 2 bold racing stripes all the way from the trunk over the roof to the hood in black? Cause I want to get a black spoiler. Also do you think I should paint my alloys? My car is running on the lenso ls21 18"rims.
Please feel free to give any further suggestions. BTW my car is heavily tinted with black tints..

Thanks,
Chetan

I suggest that u get an RS kit.Understated yet sporty.Since you are running on 18"ers a low skirtings are not advicable I feel.Anyways pls post the pics of your ride once you finish your mods.Good luck!!!
