Is it normal? or it needs attention.
Its mostly tuned to run richer at higher rpms, you could get it checked with rr to see if its too rich. No problem otherwise, what mileage are you getting?

Thanks it was running rich, and a few connecting rubber tubes had given away. Lucky I got it fixed quick if not I could have damaged my ECU.
I am getting a mileage of approx 8 at the moment, mix of city and airport road drives.

Engine oil and coolant

Hai,
I have been on OWS-5W-50 synthetic oils for the last two years. Just wondering if I should go in for a different engine oil for the turbo system.
I have these options in mind:
Engine Oil:OWS-Uber power Turbo racing- INR 5630- 4 ltrs:http://www.speedworks.in/Products.aspx?catid=14
Cooling:Tectaloy XTRA cool- INR 500- 500ml :http://www.speedworks.in/Products.aspx?catid=80

What are the best recommendations and their rates.
Also on the cooling system any recommendations.

My turbo charged swifty is to feature in Auto Car magazine. Feels great when all the efforts of the last four years gets it due recognition.
Thanks to all fellow Bhpians and Team bhp for getting me this far.
Cheers...

Re: Suzuki Swift turbo

Hai I am planning to upgrade my CAI system from the existing K&N setup.
Also reworking on the filter position to avoid the so called heat sink issues. The plan is to use the area closer to the battery and also adding a air intake duct from the front bumper to guide the air flow to the filter.
Turbo heads kindly advice on the recommended filters for my setup and is this the right position for the filter.
Red rooster has been advicing me to go for the BMC filters.

Re: Suzuki Swift turbo

I'm planning to install Turbo Boost gauge in my Diesel swift.
Can anyone point me to the exact pipe (with a picture) in the engine bay from which the boost/vaccum can be tapped ?
