Superb finishing to your car. Post some inside/outside pics of the doors too.

Great to learn from the fellow owners of padmini, this shows the love and caring for their machines which has now become a part of them. This has been a great and healthy forum which I throughly enjoy. Awesome work. Eagerly waiting for the completion of restoration of 1989 padmini. The best part I liked is the HANGING TYPE clutch and break pedal, thinking of getting one for my 1990 padmini.

By ring road do you mean the BLR-Mysore NICE road junction on Kanakpura Road?

Am heading that side of town this weekend, so was hoping to go to this garage.

Cheers,

Whoops, missed this! Thanks. Quite an assortment, from the puny Mazda to the behemoth Chevys and stylish Citroen. Keep 'em coming!

Dear Prabhuav - so when do we see the engine in the car? Please be careful on reliability of aggregates, especially as I can see Padmini stub axles and 118NE disc covers. What is the reason for body modifications near the steering box mounting area. The round protruding washer welded on the body seems to be for the clutch cable. Please do revert. This project is interesting. I can guide you in totality, that's why I am asking.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Can you clarify what the last car is? Either a home built special, or perhaps a Mazda with modified roof line to fit other glasses. The height of the roof appears disproportionate/altered.

Cheers harit

Wow she's looking great. More pics as work progresses please. BTW are the tyres different from the OE spec ? They're not looking like Fiat / Padmini tyres.
I can see a nice Standard Herald Mk I peeking in one of the pics.
