I am Mr. Prabhu's friend. I keep going to his garage.

The person working on this car Mr. Gopal, takes his own time in restoring the cars given to him. The car is in the same state as seen in the pics. It might take a year more to finish.

The car is in the same state.

Meanwhile, Prabhu has bought another Purple Padmini.

Its a common problem with most of the talented ones (mechanics) don't understand why they eat away lot of precious time, understandable if there is a genuine reason.

My 52 DKW motorcycle took more than 7 years to get started I have lost my patience and intrest on it. Its standing incomplete at my place. Hope this car gets completed quickly. All the best!

Hi!! No news. This inspires me to pick up a fast myself. Any good Diesel engines for the padmini?

Have you given up on the project altogether?

Awaiting your involvement again!

Any thing up grading makes me more interested. I am very happy to see you doing it. I saw the list of upgrading, perfect.

Small say from my side. I din't see you mention any thing about diff.I suggest go for NE 118.
NE 118 crown & pinion complete unit directly fit to your old axle.. Have 13" wheel, believe me It runs like a rally car.
If you are Interested I can show you to have pointless Distributor.

Make rack & pinion body bracket as strong as possible & in line as possible to wheel steering arm line( No fa tics to tie rod end.)

Cool shade. What colour upholstery are you planning to put in with that shade? Paint the rims and the tyre sidewalls too.

Looking at a light beige velour for interiors. Wheels will be alloys, looking for a linea stock alloy
