@ Rahulkool - Thanks buddy.

@ Nanu28 - Thanks. My Falkens will get torn sooner!! Why envy? Go ahead with it! IIRC, you also have the same car!

@ GTO - I meant in car video only. Now, I need someone to take the video na? Most of my non-Tbhp friends wet their pants above 150.

@ BP, Razor - We have to figure something out.

@ PraJEEP - LOL. No way! Tying someone to the roof will give me unnecessary drag!

@ BUSA - Thanks man. I had totally forgotten about the Magnum!

@ Manveet - Thanks buddy. You have no idea how difficult it has been for me to wait for all these years!

shuvo, take the car to one of those empty fields behind rajarhat. ask someone to set up a cam on tripod and all. and then run the car in its full glory, the turbo whistling, the exhaust roaring. while the cam outside will pan the car as it starts from somewhere far right of it and then hurtles down and then races past the cam to its left, and the cam follows. All this while put another guy with another handycam inside the car who will simply keep it focussed on the console. Later we can edit and remix it to create that right video of the hurtling express train from outside with the inside shot thrown in every now and then showing the needles shooting up like a mach3 jet. it will be one amazing video. if you wish the end of the video could have a couple of seconds of computer generated imagery of the console glass breaking and the needles shooting past the max calibration.

@ Zappo, BlackPearl, razor4077,

Shuvd s car sounds the best when it takes off from stock silent standstill to redline. We need to capture that whole sequence and also hurtling down the straight.

@ BlackPearl, after our flying session on the AJC Bose Road flyover i think you can help us chase shuvo .

Shuvo, "@ NOS - Where have you been all these days?".

The stock market crashing made us bankers lives miserable for those many days.
Will catch up with you soon. Have you done up the brakes. Have you considered fitting good brake liners.

I'm waiting for that drive.

Wow! That is awesome! I can't begin to imagine where in Calcutta you get to take this beast past 150. Those autorickshaws and mini buses must be leaping out of your path when they hear the FFE roar and the turbo whine. Do you take it to the Durgapur Expressway? Even that road would be just about able to tackle all those horses. Be careful, or they will start charging you extra toll for burning up those roads. And enjoy safely.

Shuvd, congrats on the beefed-up Octy! Now all I gotta do is find time to come down to Kolkata & hitch a ride

Zappo, that was an awesome suggestion, have you ever worked on movie sets or something?

Haa haa haaa... Kolkata Kraze can be a nice sequel to it. The idea, ummm... well, creating all those presentations, when we bid for those multinational corporates, for maximum impact probably has rubbed in somewhat.

No issues there. We can always mix the sound picked up by the cam inside the car and mix it with the video of the shooting-like-a-star silver bullet which the cam outside will take.

Edit: Shuvo, how about driving it down to hyderabad on 15th mate?

@ Zappo - Wow! F&F, NFS, Bullit all rolled into one! Me likes!

@ Prabhddhadg - These days, I'm only driving at night. Late at night, to avoid the usual mayhem! And, my car is a sleeper. Nothing gives away the beast within! "satisfied grin" lol

@ Suman - Thanks dada! Come down, come down. Your trip is due na?

@ Ram_hyundai - Thanks buddy. Yup! As usual, Pete's have done an amazing job! Warning? I was contemplating a totally de-badged look. In fact, one Calcutta bhpian suggested I put the 1.9TDi badge!!

@ Zappo - Calcutta to Hyderabad in this car?? I need high octane petrol!

@ Iraghava - Thank you sirjee! Tyres to ab tak okay shokay! Waise bhi, I'm totally broke now. Have located 4 wheels.

How much space in your boot? fill it up with cans and you are ready to go.

(only joking. definitely not safe)

The other option is to pick up enough speed, so you can coast the rest of the way.

Hmmm... Kolkata is not a prob, nor is hyderabad. But on the highways you will probably only get ultra-low octane blended petrol
