Ikon 1.3 = No power + Fantastic handling
Esteem = Good power + bad handling.

My suggestion:
Keep ur esteem and redo the suspension with Pedders parts.
U'll have power+handling.

My Suggestion - sell you esteem for 1.5 L, pool in another 1.5 L that makes it 3L, go get urself a 02-03 Baleno. Trust me you'll never regret your decision.

Swapping an esteem for a second hand Ikon just doesn't make any sense at all unless you are talking about the real ikon (yeah 1.6). Get an OHC or a Lancer instead. That would be an upgrade.

Speedworks are supposed to EBC pads i think for the esteem.
Am gonna order them soon myself. Having used them i cant handle indian pads anymore.

you might want to see if you can install ABS first, would be worth it.

i have got 1 ikon...to be serious i will have to say the truth which is a little harsh for all ikon owners....ikon is real poor ...real means real poor....donno anything about esteem but i guess 1.6 is way better but 1.3 is like an auto if the cars stacked with 5 persons nd luggage...

If I were you would keep the esteem .But if you wanna change over why not consider the Honda City OHC as well .

I would not suggest dumping your Esteem for the old non-ROCAM Ikon 1.3.
If it were a ROCAM engine, my opinion would differ, but definitely not for the Endura 1.3 engine.

Hi i have one question for you! since i have driven both the carbed one and mpfi, which one do you think is more responsive even though they are 20 bhp apart?? i felt the carbed one inspite of being 65 bhp, more responsive!
