Maruti800AC modification

Hi

I use my M800 extensively for highway travel. I am looking at strenthing the suspension and also increase the ground clearance. Can anyone let me know where I can get it done in Bangalore and how much will it cost me.

I don't think there is such a thing called "strenthing" the suspension but you can definitely stiffen it.Stiffining the suspension will decrease your ride quality.
The safest way to increase the ground clearance is to upsize you wheels & tyres but this will have a minor increase.

I dont know about the suspension part but 145/80/R12 will increase the ground clearance and give a softer ride than the standard 145/70/R12

get the spacers installed . but raising cars height will affect your ride quality and handling over corners

if you use it extensively on highways i suggest upsizing the tire. This way you ride will improve, but you high speed handling will not be compromised with suspensions.

@ Anjan - Upsize your tyres. That is the safest bet. IMHO, don't look at spacers and such.

I agree, do not mess up the suspension with spacers, just go in for bigger tyres, 145/80R12 is the best bet. I have these tyres in my M800 and have no issues
