Question : Why modify the Bolero to look like Bolero Invader ? Is the 4 door thingy the reason ?

Actually - all the 4 doors are removable - they can be reinstalled with ease. the two front doors are actually packed and kept in the back to be carried along.

Condor, the Bolero invader has a very different look - also its not open in the front cab if I remember correctly. It has a soft top cover but the seating and the overall looks were not to my liking. Therefore, I decided to go this way.

Good mods.
as DoCG mentioned , without doors you will have a tough time leaving it parked alone .

Well why dont you get small doors with it like the jeep rubicon. Will look good. Great job though. How much did it cost ya for the mods?

the doors have been cut into half and made removable - you can see the two front ones in the back of the vehicle in one of the pics.

the mods including the labor and the material costed me about 1.5 lacs and about 3.5 months to complete it up. This includes everything - xenon head lamps, ICE setup, upholstery, softtop , bucket seats, rear fridge etc.

The curved windshield was not meant to be folded onto the bonnet.
That's why the peculiar inverted curve.
Why don't you use a regular MM-540 flat windshield?

1) What happens to the RTO registration of the old platform?
2) Methinks you will have to get the redesign "passed" and re-registered.
3) Will insurance companies insure this vehicle for road use?
4) If not, won't it be illegal to drive it?

Ankur... great mod dude... though I would have preferred a black or red (my personal choice). I am a HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE fan of Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing.... However, plan to do a lil more changes. Plan to implant a Scorpio engine. and then the front wind shield - plan to reduce its height, to reduce the height of the vehicle....

Some questions
1) Where did you get this done? 1.5L seems to be a good deal....
2) Do you have space at the back to put all the doors? or just two at a time?
3) How do u manage not to get scratches on your doors when placed at the back?
4) What about the top? is it the hardtop or soft-top? please detail a bit on this if its soft top (how neatly does it fold back?).
5) If possible could you give the break-up of the costs (I know im asking too much!)
6) The bumpers and mudguards: did u custom built it or bought it somewhere?

Best Regards,
Yogesh

Excellent effort!

Blackened pillars will look good!

And the chrome headlamp covers are totally looking out of place!

a pretty nice job...3 things i would say
1. change the bolero lights and grille with round lights and a crome less grille.
2. remove the rear doors too as it will look pretty muscular.
3. add two big fog lights like the ones available in the new jeep wrangler.

Sheesh, that's a disgusting modification. He has chopped the entire roof off, I can only imagine what it has done to the Bolero's road behaviour. Driving this Bolero is a suicidal exercise....stability down in the pits!

Sorry but thumbs down.
