Shock Absorbers Replacement

Dear T-bhpians,

My Opel Corsa (1.4 GSi,2004 model) having done 60,000 kms needs change of shock absorbers among other things. Could anyone tell me how much that would cost and are there any particular brand that I can look for. I am based in New Delhi and would like to consider after-market sources than the GM dealer due to obscene rates they charge and few times the servicing was not quite up to the mark.

Would like to hear from long term Opel users also on their sourcing arrangement for parts replacements since Opel cars are no longer selling in the market.

Friends i am planning to change the front shock absorbers for my alto can anybody tell what would be the approximate price for a new pair.
