Hi
A good Free Flow Exhaust with headers, Air Filter (K&N or any reputed brand)stock or universal..Please see my 800 5S MPFI same as Alto...synthetic oil for reduced friction & alloys..that would do for city use...Tacho if required

Regards

Modding and Alto

Mridul, your car is too good,

Did u get those head lamps from the comapny or you changed them?
Also please post some pics of the alloys.

My M800 has clocked 53K and its time for a tyre change. Any idea on what set of tyres wuld be good for M800.

What is the brand of tacho you have? and pls let me know how much does a K&N and FFE cost.

I would like to do them on my 2002 Model M800, 5S MPFI.

Is this the LXi or the VXi version that you have ?
Whatever be the case, for starters you could get an aftermarket airfilter and a free flow job done.

For tyres , search around the forum there are umpteen number of threads regarding tyre upgrade for Alto's.

i would suggest a k&n filter helps a little not much a very marginal increase in the power but fe sure improves a free flow more or less useless in the 800cc engine personal experience

and as for the tires dont go beyond 165 have used 205,185 the 165 are the best and they dont foul with the body

currently working on a short shifter with the help of gogiji and abhi

will update if it works out to be fine

As far as tires and alloys are concerned 165/65/R13 would be ideal, IMO

Can we have more details Manikji ?

Is this one off-the-shelf, like from SuzukiSport, or is it being custom fabricated ?

Hi
Suresh..Thanks ...The headlamps have been changed by me recently at home...I bought them from Maruti-Gurgaon as we are their supplier of batteries...Tyres - You can opt for 155-70R-12 Goodyear GPS 2 tube less which I currently use...I ran my first set for 55K (Same as above) & my 2nd set has clocked 37K which is a total of 92K...
Tacho brand is Auto Gauge which should cost 3K & FFE is custom made..The cost of FFE would be around 5.5K & the K & N I use with intake tubing would cost 6K...

Making the FFE would take 2 days with headers...

Pics of my alloys...

Thanks for giving the exact tire specs, but with the alloys on, the 65 profile wont be that big is what i think.
My two cents

hello manikjeet.. which k&n filter do you recommend.. the stock one or the universal type.... which one is the better performer and what is the cost involved in both?

well i understand that adding the filter wont make the car a race equip. but how much effect can it make on the power and fe? say in approx percentages..?

The difference isn't that big, someting like 2,4% I reverted to 165/65r13 as well, on my new 5J sized rims. the choice in 165/60 tyres was just too limited
here (Europe).
