Just confirming, you mean to say you have put a Baleno engine in your Swift?

These cars look like twins. Even I thought the TCed Swift now had this Baleno engine

its my friends car...its really smooth and quite fast through the gears..more torque too but nowhere as quick as the turbo swift...however this car is very nive to drive with great performance....

the baleno engine has been modded too.

FFE
ecm
head and port polish
air filter
throttle body

I am surprised even with all the mods on a bigger & powerful engine its not as quick as a turboed Swift engine???

Excatly!!A baleno makes 94 bhp stock. Withe these mods, it should be a 3 digit figure right? And torque should be better too.

Techno; wouldnt a turbo produce more torque and bhp than a modded baleno?

Hope Gemballa can clear this with some number facts.

Yes a turbo will do wonders but but will a 1.3 with Turbo be quicker than a modded 1.6 & mind you the 1.6 is modded decently I am its not just a FFE job with filter.

At the end of the day ofcourse the if the rurbo is being setup with host of other mods the 1.3 will enjoy better P\W ratio.

Nice!! though the plumbing for the air intake could have been better. Isnt there space on the left for the CAI? I doubt the air will be cold when it passes thru all that piping right over the engine.

Also, is the power steering Hydraulic or electronic now?

Just a thought. In the third picture the intake filter pipe is seriously long. Wouldn't that hurt performance at the top end?
