Urgent Help needed for Marine Engine!!

Hey Bhpian, posting this thread on behalf of a nappy pal who is into undertaking marine mechanical works.
He has undertaken a job of a Volvo Penta TAMD59 EDC marine Diesel Engine of 480HP. After a lot of headbanging with the enginne, the problem is with the turbo Charger which has gone kaput, and now he needs to find a way to fix the TC or to get a new TC. fixing the TC only if the time permits. Has like a weeks time the max, otherwise importing the TC. Any help towards fixing, or any contacts or any Importer details will be helpful.this will be very highly appreciated.

The Details and the number of the Turbo Charger and the Engine is mentioned below.

how different are marine engines compared to road ones
are they similar to ones used in big trucks?

I guess They are almost the same. With some modifications on the marine engines to make them suitable for extra long hours of duty.

Thanx Viper will do that today!!,

Paras: they are bigger engines, i dont know whether we can compare it with the truck ones but it definately is high-performance ones, to push the boat against the water!!
