You mean 180+ on an Innova. Even though its on a dyno, quite an achievement.

Just wondering if it's a 3.0L D-4D and the 2.5L. I can't see the video from office so don't really know.

It looks intersting. But wasnt Innova supposed to do 180 kmph ?

Also from the video i could not make out if the car was on jack or really moving. I dont have sound in office.

What was that green light which was blinking ?

It sure is an automatic, one can see from the gear display, its on D. Then one can also see the Steering wheel, its got multi function switches. These two are clear indicators the car is Abroad.
The blinking light is of the seat belt warning and the other light is the door ajar warning light.
Is also a Diesel because the tacho shows only 6000 rpm limit. Now where is this, Indonesia, Thailand or South Africa (Is the Innova even available there?)

So Innova owners come to know that they are not wearing seat-belts by seeing the blinking light. how user friendly Innova is .

I won't be surprised if there is a light to show that engine is now ON and the driver can slot the gear to 1st .

Without any wind resistance, won't it be very easy for even a stock innova to reach 180kmph?
Wind resistance is an important factor,.
For example Gypsy 85bhp tops out around 130kmph due to its breadbox shape. With proper aerodynamics you can do 150kmph on a similarly speced vehicle

I wonder whats so funny, this reminder is present in most of the modern cars. I believe even Swift has this. The purpose of this blinker is to remind the driver to put on seat belts.

yeah very funny. many cars have this. even an audi a6 starts beeping if you dont wear your seatbelt.

also haaving a seatbelt not worn light is more useful than having 2 loghts to show when the car is hot and when it is cold like in your nhc.

correct....people know they are not wearing a seat belt and its dangerous, but they dont care. A blinking light alerts the nut, attracts attention and often starts to irritate after a few minutes.

Hence, the light has some nuisance value and i have seen ppl put on the belt so the freaking light would go away. infact it would help if there was some kind of repetitive announcement (filled with some choice words) to further irritate those who dont wear belts.

Is That Really A Diesel Innova ? Because It Sure Dosen't Sound Like One and if It's a 2.7 VVT-I One 180 is just Peanuts for that engine.....
