Remus Exhaust Systems

I was at Darshan Tyres, Viman Nagar branch for a wheel alignment and balancing job. The manager/owner in the meanwhile showed me a K&N stock and CAI filter that would cost roughly around 3900 bucks. I enquired if he had FFEs available. He said they have "Remus" exhaust systems that are made in Austria. These FFEs cost in the range of 15-17k and bolt-on directly in the car. I told him after the FFEs that AutoMech makes and that they cost around 9k. He says, Remus is a renowned brand and thats the reason its pricey.

Does anyone have any pointers to Remus? Anyone with Remus installation?

P.S: He also said they are going to sell AutoMech exhausts from July onwards. Darshan guys are talking to Automech in this regard.

Yes! Remus is from Austria and remus has only the end can not the full exhaust system.
I have installed a bolt-on to my swift and it's music for the ears.

Remus sells only end cans as all said here. But the price quoted is way too high. You can get a Remus end can for 10k-10k.Dont let him take you for a ride. The out put is great and more over if you are interested in one check out automech too.

It is correct that Darshan sells only the Endcan of Remus and there is bolt on for Swift and Getz only. For other car they have universal Endcan that will be wielded to your existing system by removing the existing stock Endcan. In the universal type there are many types and the price varies accordingly to models. Some of the common models that are available are Hard line, Titanium tip and double tip.

I would not pay 17 grand for an end-can. No way!
I'd better look at Automech or Viper performance for a complete FFE. Thanks for the info guys.

You mean, you have a Remus end-can bolted on. How much of a performance difference have you felt after the installation?

IMO its only the brand that makes it so expensive. You have various other brands which makes end cans like magnaflow, 5zigen etc. Check with adman77 he has a magnaflow installed on his Corsa.

OR, what you can do is get one fabricated at the place where game over gets its exhausts done and pay 700-800 bucks for a muffler. Like i did for my fiat.

Why would then anybody plonk a good 15-17 grand to get an end-can??? Just for the sound? That sounds foolish.
