hi,
here r some videos of my car after installing the K&N Universal filter.
its running on 15inch Hr Alloys and 195/50/15R Yokohama AVS sports .
Got the hub rings(aluminum) fr alloys installed recently after which the handling and braking has improved remarkably , The car is much more stable then ever, No steering vibrations, braking is much sharper.

Braking:

Braking at 120+ speed ( I hate to see the tires smoking out expensive) .Brakes r very effective now specially after Hub Rings).

Pick-up:

K&N Filter:

It will be great if u guys can share any videos of ur mod.. car .

Karan

but buddy be aware u don't knock down anyone as i could see some vehicles on the same road. drive same cheers:

This was amazing but please be careful doing that kind of braking on that small road(better try the NICE )But nevertheless it looked nice to see the way car handled, well I can alsovouch for that as I've experienced that ;-) .

PS : Can you please tell me where have you got the hub-rings ??

Cool videos. The braking one was just too good especially when the car didn't skid a bit. I watched it 4-5 times.

Enjoy yourself and drive safe.

Please be careful man!

Locking your wheels isn't really the ideal way to stop you know!

Those were real good videos. But buddy be more careful as there are people waiting for you back home and also those people walking, driving have some one waiting.

But it is really good to see that you are enjoying your baleno. Next time ensure all this is done only on express highways.

Nice to see that you car performance is really cool. But please mind that all what you have done should have been on a test track and not on civilian road. Extra Power to be handled with extra responsibility...Cheers

Hi Spider,

Being a baleno_lover - My comments are inline.

I agree with some replies that the video seems quite rash. You should have chosen a less congested and wider road for these tests/ videos. esp on a forum which takes safety seriously.

Braking:

Braking at 120+ speed ( I hate to see the tires smoking out expensive) .Brakes r very effective now specially after Hub Rings).
a) slamming the brakes is not the most effective way to stop the vehicle. Its also dangerous as the Baleno does not have ABS to help keep the car going in the direction you want it to go.
Applying the right amount of pressure heel to toe and letting the rubber grip the road is the best way to do it (IMO).

b) if you do that quite a bit you will have a flat spots on your tire which you might feel at high speeds.

Do a launch from standstill and try to really red-line it. I think the was a short shift on first. She had atleast another 500 RPM in her.

As requested Intake growl on my Baleno

And a added bonus: a video of a uphill climb following a fellow Team-bhpian also in a silver Baleno touching 80kmph at some places.

WOOW!!!!!! My favourite was that braking. I've seen something like this live. A baleno slammed its brakes since an idiot maruti 800 guy decided to stop in the middle of the road to talk to someone on the other side of the road. THe baleno just skidded straight. No side stepping.

looks reckless only because of the NARROW ROADS. But otherwise I am sure its a Empty, Rarely busy strech. The Dust you kicked up makes it look real dangerous.

Spider, check out the NICE Road. Post some 160+ Videos please.

Where did you get the Hub spacers done?

Btw- Is it Hessarghatta Road? Please let me know.
