I totally agree with BBS's choice of alloys +1 to that. What colour is the car going to be ? That may be helpful in closing the choice of alloys..

So by when is the car going to rock & roll ???

Cheers

ATLBLKZ06 : Good luck with your project, i had something similar in mind only with swapping a 2JZ engine into my E36, however, it was turning out to be way too expensive, so just restoring the car to its original 316 glory!

MPOWER: That is a nicely maintained E36, i wish i could find a coupe here. I am keeping the car bone stock as well, only upgrades really would be the rims and M3 bumpers.

Ricky63: Sir, the paintjob is being finalized, in a bit of a mix between alpina white and dark carbon grey. Hoping the car rolls out of Arush's workshop by the end of this month.

Cheers guys, need more votes on which set of rims to go for!

Thats insane! I've never seen a 2JZ in an E36 before. I'm kinda tempted to throw a 2JZ into an old Cressida (found one for 500 bucks). Can you imagine the look on the guy's face when his (insert fast car here) gets whooped by a 20 year old toyota sedan?

Btw, do yo have a link to a thread about your Lancer?

Sir, i was at the workshop today itself. The car is on stilts at the moment as the brakes need to be changed as well as the suspension and both are being ordered. Had a word with the big guy as to when i can have it and have been given an optimistic 1 month time. Although the paint job has been finalized, i'll just say that its for sure a grey. Eagerly awaiting this car to be fixed.

Cheers

Stock brakes or an upgrade ? What suspension ? I guess as the engine is being retained as is (power wise) stock brakes would suffice.

Nice choice of paint. Is it the Civic dark grey metallic ?? That is a personal favourite & should look nice on the car !

All the best - BUT what about some Pics ??

Cheers

Sir stock brakes itself, suspension wise going for bilstein comfort shocks. Grey, is leaning more towards the shade that you find on the 911 called meteor grey. I will surely take pics asap.

Man i just love those alloys on the Daytona Grey Beemer.
Sai Mag Wheels, Prestige and Lenso have this design. Check out their website, the Sai Mag Wheels design comes closest.
