Hi all

My good old zen which is a mpfi 2004 LX version has its Clutch almost dead so need to change it ASAP.

Total mileage in 3.5 yrs is 49.5K.

i was ignoring this since last 2 months but now got some free time coming weekend and would love to get it serviced and Clutch Assembly replaced.

As this car is out of warranty and i dont trust MASS much(cost & reliability)so i have to take it to my local mechanic for all this.

i just wanted to know which Clutch Assembly is being used in Maruti Zen and from where i can buy it in delhi.

If there are more than 1 brands please help me choose the better one and their respective costs please.

If there is any upgrade is recomended then i wont mind that too.

This will be the ist part change for this car.

Why dont you trust any of the MASS? I think the price difference will not be much, I feel that it will be better if you get it done at MASS than your local mechanic.

will get it done from MASS or if the labour charges are hugely different then would buy from MASS and get it done from my local mechanic

agree:. The MGP clutch bears the "Ceekay" brand name.

@ Sunny - My local mechanic changed the clutch plates and cylinder assembly. Worked out a lot cheaper than MASS. Cost me around 5k for parts and labor for my esteem including other minor tuning jobs.

I found a distributor of CeeKay-Daikin in Kashmere Gate Delhi.and he has quoted 1300 Rs for the same.

Couldn't find anyone selling Valeo in Delhi.

and though its a non priority car for me so Ceekay would do the job i presume.
