1 lac to spend on a 1.8TPI..what would you do..?

Hi guys...
I have finally saved up some extra dough to do up my Skoda 1.8TPI. The only upgrade it has right, but not worth mentioning, is a K&N. I would like a little more power, if possible maybe reach close to 180-200bhp by tuning and a new intake, if it fits in my budget but....

I have always liked the way the vRS looks and have wanted to add the alloys and the bumper and the spoiler asap, with new tyres.

If I get both I do over shoot my budget somewhat...
Can you guys suggest where would you put your money, If you were to do up the Skoda 1.8 Turbo Petrol with this budget...?
Can other Skoda modders please help me out here...I am totally confused with a shoe string budget..
Thanks a lot.
Nanu
PS. I am not looking for any ICE, somehow like the turbo/exhaust sound more...

Just go for a Custom Code Remap from Pete's & you will straight away get into the 200 BHP league. Upgrade your tires to take care of the huge torque & BHP surge & you are home.

My experiance with the re-map was great though I have a 1.9 TDi. The re-map is even better on the 1.8 TPi. All this is well within your budget.

Refer to Shuvd's thread where he has gone into great detail with the project.

Hope that helps

Cheers

@ ricky63 -

@ nanu - go through this thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...a-1-8-tpi.html

shuvd has stage 2 mods in his 1.8tpi rider - stage one will give you 200BHP.

Phase/stage 1:

1)Generic Remap
2)Diverter Valve
3)Green Cotton Panel filter(Direct Replacement)

Nanu, go for the Phase 1 upgrade from Pete's. You'll get around 200bhp (no, I DON'T have any dyno proof).
As Planet mentioned, it involves a remap, a diverter valve and a stock replacement filter. You'll have quite some money left over. Spend that on decent tires/body kit/PETROL!! You could get a CAI instead of the stock replacement.

P.S. Good tires are must!!
