Really cool. Is this end can made by Psycho? or is it purchased aftermarket?

Aditya and IronWolf,
Thanks for correcting me, and the misconception I had on Headers and FFs. From your posts my understanding is FE will not be affected and infact it would improve and there is no ill effects on the environment.

So, u advice me to go for the entire set of Headers, FF and Mufflers ?

Special thanks to Aditya for pointing Electra, as I am planning to contact them once I get a clear picture after our discussion.

Pls advice...

Daniel, I am sure there will be a drop in FE in the initial times due to some high revving for the joy of the sound.

Yes Saravanan. Just ensure to go in for street spec headers (4x2x1) which kicks in at around 2k or 2.5k RPM. This will be perfect for daily drives and stop and go conditions (city traffic). You will love the performance of the car after the header and FFE.

Drive with a light foot and FE would not be compromised.... but this will be difficult as the sound is very addictive and you will have a sore itch to floor the car every now and then.

On one trip from Pondy to Chennai, I kept my speed between 80-100kmph and I got 19kmpl with the a/c on. *touchwood*. Keep flooring the car to hear the sound and FE will naturally drop. This is true for a stock car also.

I have a Emission certificate for a test done yesterday to prove I am within norms

Yes do the Headers with a FFE. Keep the muffler if you want to keep it quite, add a end can if you want it loud. Stop with a side pipe if you want it louder.

I could write a book about it.
