Maruti Esteem MPFi IAT

Can anybody please tell me which is the IAT signal wire in the new maruti esteem? The IAT plug is located on the intake pipe. It has 2 wire circuit.

a. Green with a red line
b. Grey with a red line

Also how to measure voltage across these wires?
And what should be the voltage across the signal wire and the ground wire?

According to me the IAT signal wire is the Green one....
Am i correct?

Whats the engine code for Esteem, is it G13B? There are service manuals available online for this engine. They give a detailed instruction on how to test the sensors, including IAT.

Below is an extract from Baleno manual. Esteem IAT could be completely different. So check before you do anything !!

The IAT sensor is most likely an NTC thermistor, in which case polarity doesnt matter. And resistance is what you want to measure, not voltage. But since you're probably trying to tap into the signal line which goes to the ECU, try to find the same colored wire in the ECU harness. That's the best bet in case you dont have a service manual.

BTW I thought the esteem and most other maruti vehicles were MAF-based? Why would there be a separate IAT sensor? Strange.
