Zeeshan, just my thoughts

White is nice. Just paint the bumpers white. Body coloured bumpers always look good. Paint the mirrors white if you want.

Check Lenso 13" alloys, there is one with 4 spokes (white). I guess its for 15K-16K

i actually plan to change the colour ( Maybe ) but i am one confused bugger, i like either white or blue but i am still not sure, i dont want to keep the hood black because the engine bay would get heated unnecessarily, Rim paint is somthing that can be thought about, FFE i dont want as i want my car to be silent as a cat.

I have put in a few pictures of alloys ive seen in a few tyre shops in mumbai- grant rd and milan subway and saifee tyres in santacruz, these looked the best among 13" so please advice which one should i go for, i would want to buy them ASAP just in case they get sold out later as my car will take another 3 weeks atleast to get out of paint.

Even I have a similar ZEN (only addition is it has a spoiler).
And even I am looking to modify it to be simple and sweet. I have already done a lot of work on engine & other parts, so the performance is very good.

Even I am of an openion that WHITE is best for ZENs.

I have asked my friend (Who owns a guarage in mumbai) for the paint estimate & MSS also, both are 20K & 30K respectively.
How much you have estimated the paint job for?

I really liked the alloys kept on chair.
Even I want to change my rims but do not know what will be the effect of changing from 12" to something else. Hence was thinking of buying the 12"alloys displayed on Team-BHP classifieds for 7.5K

Here's my E-Zen 99 carb just out of Race Dynamics a week ago. Running / Engine bored to 1300 CC now. Currently on high compression. I never ever imagined that the torque will be so much, the car just zooms with light foot. Never tried heavy foot coz it needs to be driven carefully for 1000 kms and it will go back to Race Dynamics again for tuning and suspension work. A million thank you to Sanjay at Race Dynamics who did this for me and will be my advisor for all future mods.

Currently running on x-tra premium petrol.
Tyres - 175/60 R13 Bridgestone Potenza G3s with spacers which will be removed permanently during suspension work (stiffening).
ICE - Pioneer HU, Pioneer equalizer, 2 Pioneer speakers, 1 Pioneer 4 channel amp and a Fusion sub-woofer (1200W)

Next on the list - FFE and CAI

Guys - I do not drive fast but I love fast cars. I am sure I cannot answer the question "whats the maximum speed acheived?" but 0-60 is just too fast/early and I cant imagine how more good it will be after tuning (after 1000 kms). Sanjay, If you are reading this, I am running the car around Kormangala for no reasons just to complete 1000 Kms. Its just 400 Kms now :-(

Here is Sunshine!! (Yellow) Bought her in Dec'06, bid farewell in June'08.

She was in stock + mint condition from the day i bought her till she was with me..

Only Mods was upgrade to 155/80 R13 Bridgestone + K&N filters + Changed Rear Suspension (MGP) + Struts (MGP) +
Got a max FE of 13 in city / Least 7Kms (AC), 19Kms on highways..

Here is My new Zen’ 2004, Bought her in August,
Not much of mods on her yet..

She has an awesome exhaust sound with only End-can on her, (complimented many times..!! ),
Installed Tachometers + Jaw Shift lights recently..

Got a max of 17 in City & 24 on Highway till date.

No iDea.. As said earlier i bought the car 2 months ago & i have made no Mods on her.. Only a gen service at the Showroom..

Had taken my baby to Shabbir once to get the end can checked as there as a small leak, he said he must have installed himself recognizing my baby's fancy #..

So she has a custom built End-can on her..

I got my boy (zen 2003 model) new shoes 2 months back. Now he runs on 165/60/R13 Potenza tyres and Aura rims.

The handling, cornering and brakes have improved with the upgrade.

I also got gypsy shocks at the back with 1 inch spacers.

Next month planing to go for headers + airfilter and type 2 brakes.

hey adi99 .. really nice looking (and m,oving i presure!!) car you got there. good job on keeping that clean look. always wanted an engine upgrade but at one point thought i might sell the car so never followed through with it. what have you done about your suspension work?!
