Doesn't such mods put you at the risk of voiding your warranty?

You might end up risking your warranty.
Also, I haven't seen many good quality RVMs with indicators. They all look cheap. Stock are the best (if available).

I don't think this will void warrantly. Then how does the OEM ORVM indicators are fixed.

LED strip is fixed on the ORVM cover and the wire is taken through the doors and connected to the side repeater wires without cutting it, so there is no problem, even I have in my car. Company Indicators are too expensive, there are lot of indicators available in the market.

This is what all dealers say

Doing anything with the wiring may lead to warranty getting void

I think the dealers want to make money for themselves so that you would go to him for any accessories.

If you want to jazz up your car you have to take some risk. If you have done mods on the electrical & electronics then your warranty may void for those kind of things alone and not on the engine.

Actually it depends on the dealer, because I have claimed warranty for the Santro (previous car) when it was fitted with LPG.

Guys, i can work on the warranty piece.

@Godspeed: Can you tell me where to get that done in Bangalore? I was checking a few websites and there are some real cool clip on covers that are available for i30 (blinkers with courtesy lamp @ kspec.com)

nothing for the verna but will the i30 covers fit the verna?

Re: Rear View mirror with turn signals for Verna

Sorry to bump up this thread. I am looking for turn-signal indicators for the ORVMs on my Innova V 2009, at Delhi.
What are the choices available ?
If the installer uses Tap Connectors, to connect these indicators to the wires powering the OEM indicators on the fenders - would that void warranty?
Which installers do the best work in Delhi?
