Hi Guys,
Installed the sprint booster yesterday & the car is flying. The throttle response has improved dramatically.Just a gentle press on the pedal makes the car zip.I guess this is what I was looking for when the car was remapped.Installation was fairly simple & took about 10 minutes.I would highly recommend this to people looking for more responsiveness.
cheers!

How much did you get your spring booster for.
And from where.

How much is the difference in the 0-100 timings.?

What is this "sprint booster" thing ? Can this be installed on the 1.9 TDi ? If yes, what is it gonna cost ?

Got it done from Arush or elsewhere ?

Cheers

I guess this is the sprintbooster you guys are talking about SprintBooster Power Converter - www.SprintBoosterSales.com

Now what I wanna know is how safe is this think on a remapped car which is already running on high boost. Am sure this thing doesn't have anything to o with the turbo boost but yet how safe it would be for a remapped car.
How much did this cost you sandeep?

Help on the interior will be appreciated.
Any idea if something like RNS 510 is available aftermarket for use in other cars ? This is cool stuff man... !

Just went through this thread. Nice car, especially the HU and navi systems look amazing. Lucky you, on the warranty bit.

Sameel, AFAIK, the FGT Hyundai Elantra runs 15-16 psi, and so do the FGT Octavia 1.9 TDI and the FGT Swift DDiS. The Skoda Octavia 1.8T runs about 8 psi, which spikes to 11-12 psi under hard acceleration in lower gears. Not sure about the VGT boost figures.

Great looking car, congrats sandeepm777. The body kit looks good, better than anyting I've seen on any other Lauras, especially from the front. Now you may think of adding a rear window spoiler or a rear trunk spoiler from Skoda itself. BTW, is the bodykit Milotec- the same people who makes exhausts? Did you get it from Pete's? What did it cost you?

Oh, I just looked up the Pete's website and saw the bodykit. Skoda offers front & rear bumper spoilers as accessories, but the price is on the higher side.

Hi Guys,
I got the sprint booster from the UK,cost me 160 pounds. My car is already remapped & I got it installed at Patel Auto,Gurgaon. Its a fairly simple installation procedure but I would recommend not to do it on your own.It removes the throttle lag & gives you an instant kick when you press the pedal even a wee bit.I dont think it improves the 0-100 timings.
Cheers!

Damn.
160 pounds is like 11000 bucks,
And thats damn good.
Does it need any other mods like remap or something.
And is it something like pete's box which can be replaced and reput before and after serviced.

Yes. It just sits between the TPS and the ECU. You just need to know where its fixed. After that, it's simple plug and play (or unplug and service).
