Mods For Hyundai Sonata Gold - POSSIBILITIES ?

LOOKED EVERYWHERE NO CONCRETE RESULTS.

I own a similar looking car, 2003, golden colour sonata.

Have upgraded the alloys to 16", MCHLN ENRGY 205.

CURRENTACCESSORIES :
  1. Dark Tints (20% Visibility)
  2. Reverse Sensors (Rear view mirror digital display)
I AM LOOKING TO CHANGE:
  1. Body-kit (if available or custom)
  2. Wire mesh grill with emblem
  3. The body color to a matte [carbon feel] white
  4. Xenon headlamps (High & Low beam also fog-lamps if possible)
  5. New steering wheel (Preferably with audio controls)
  6. Install air filters, CAI, exhaust sys.
  7. Suspension.
ADVISE for or against the above.
if yes, ideas, suggestions, contacts.

Hi there! Welcome to t-bhp!!

1. Body kit - well, the car is quite low already...i would'nt suggest it.
2. Wire mesh grill - the llok of the car will get spoilt...with all that chrome...if you have the vertical teeth-like grill, i would suggest you go for the horizontal grill (OEM) without the emblem...then it will look like a merc from certain angles...& it has LOTS of bling factor.
3. Body colour - See Viper performance (Jignesh)...he will guide you in the right direction.
4. Xenon lamps - any decent Mumbai car shoppe will have these. You will need H1 & H7 bulbs.
5. New steering wheel ....what about air bags?
6. Air filters, exhaust etc - see viper.
7. Suspension: as above.

A free-flow, CAI etc. would be totally out of place on the Sonata. If there is one area that needs a performance enhancement, its the suspension. My drives in the last gen Sonata haven't been impressive, it feels like a boat! At high speeds, you could end up pukish.

Performance dampers and a tad stiffened suspension ought to be priority no.1!

And not to forget, better tyres.

My suggestion, get a good set of classy looking alloy wheels and new tyres, a V6 grill and good tint.

these three will enhance the look of the car to a great extent.

well you will have a very limited choice in 16s so i suggest 17s. 225/50 r17 would be the best choice.

Arush this is the Krome One right?? the one with two 15" Hertz Subs? I remember seeing this silver one in Faridabad when i was paying a visit to LBM!!! The Tyres look awful, its a wrong upsize or i dont know what!!! i am sure Arush cant do this!! Either this was re-moddified by some body else!!

But wasnt that painted Purple? Or is it a copy of your design?? People or i should say modifiers in Delhi are known to Copy your Designs!! I remember that i saw Lancer with the Nemesis Red and black paintjob or i should say stickers , and the bodykit was same BUT the Fit and finish is best not discussed!!!

ART now how become a trademark in Delhi!! You ask anybody where did you car moddified and they have one answer "AUTOPSYHCE" thats a different story they cant pronounce it properly .

Haha m4u, most of what you say is true. However this silver one is different from the krome (silver earlier then purple). Infact there are two more in delhi done by us with the same kit one in gold and one more in silver but i dont have pics of them. But all of them were done 2-3 yrs back, none recently.
