cheap VAG-COM cables from Ebay?

I cannot afford the original Ross-Tech cable so I was wondering if I should buy a 20$ from ebay? They seem to be chinese rip offs. Has anyone tried these cables? Do they work? Even if the probability of its work is >= .5, I will give it a shot

I just need a cable to play with my Fabia.

Not only the cable.
You need the Software also.
Dont buy chinese stuff
buy original if you want to.
