15% fuel wasted while seeing the gearknob to know which gear you are in.

I'm sure this is nothing but a gimmick toy, but does anyone knows how does this senses the gear lever position and hence the gear?

Just found this on pete's and all I can say is this is the most useless but simultaneously the funkiest upgrade for a car!

How utterly pointless and totally cool!

Re: Indy-cator shifter knob?

Can Someone please guide me on where to buy it at that price? (Rs 5850)...I'm planning to install it. I stay in bangalore and the price here is 7800.

So was wondering where you guys got that price from. It would be better if you could give me a source in bangalore. Thanks in advance guys.

Sorry I cannot tell you the price, but would like to ask that what exactly appeals to you in this product that you are willing to spend a hefty price for that?

I guess if you really have the habit of shifting in the wrong gear, then it would be useful otherwise it nices for cosmetics, but still not worth the cost!
