If you need a sporty sound you should go for an appropriate muffler also do note that such mods will effect your fuel efficiency.
Fitting the muffler alone will not change the FE. It all depends on the way you drive with it. What Mag said is absolutely true. You tend to drive with heavy foot when you fix the muffler to hear the sporty/loud sound and thus affects the FE.

hi adi, i was having mags words in mind while typing ,didnt make it a point as it was already mentioned. but in case if we are going for a performance tunned mufflers or a free flow exhaust then i suppose its natural that the FE should come down as there will be notteable difference in Back pressure and other parameters.experts correct me if i am wrong.

Very true. Fitting a FFE and headers may lead to little compromise on FE. I have a muffler on my zen right now(no change in FE) and in a few days it will be a FFE with headers. And we all hope that Jakky removes the exhaust tip and go for sporty muffler or a FFE!

upgraded alloys and tires. LENSO SC 05 R1 - limited edition wheels , YOKOHAMA S-drive tires 205/55/R15 .

I want to change the color of alloy to hyper silver , is it possible ?
I did not like the current look.

Please suggest a low cost way ...

There are some threads in the Tyre and Alloy Section of this forum that discuss repainting alloys. Use the search field to find those threads. There's more than one of them, you'll find all the information you need.

Just curious... you seem to have just bought these rims, and you're already dissatisfied with them. If you really wanted hyper silver, why did you buy black rims??

@jakky88: You got your ride done by Sajeeth right?

I would suggest dont go for the Silver re-painting of the rims keep them as it is.

If possible get new aftermarket Head & tail lamps. The ones that are black. I have seen it on many swifts'.
This will give your car an all black look. I think painting the mesh black too will make your car look good.

How did i miss the thread for this long!!

The bumper was done at my garage. The bumper was designed by a customer of mine who wanted it on his car. Neverthless it was his choice.

Jay's car is coming in for a change pretty soon. Will be sporting a slightly modified swift sport bumper.

Regarding the alloys, it looks hot in daytime. But in the night it's almost like his stock rims. Will be changin the alloys also sometime soon.

updated alloys

At last I have updated my 15 inch lenso wheels to 17 inch LENSO SC-04 . Tyre NANKANG 205/40/R17 , ride comfort is great except for noise in some bad roads. Otherwise it is very cool to ride on.

Hey, jakky the first design you chose was definitely different but didn't go well with the overall look of the Swift.

What you can do is keep the same bumper and just remove the two middle parts and give a solid looking piece in the middle.

Heres a photoshopped pic that shows my idea:

The angled corners don't go well with the rounded look of the swift.
