what is a side ways button split ?? then i have fitted an end piece to my silencer yesterday , but there is no sound difference !

Did you fit an end piece(muffler tip) or an end can(muffler)??

yeah i have fit muffler tip and not the can. Will fitting muffler can reduce the fuel economy . Does it has anything to do with the power of the vehicle

Fitting muffler by itself will not affect fuel economy. That misconception is likely due to the fact that people drive with a lead foot to keep hearing the sound of their exhaust, which obviously will reduce fuel economy.

+1 to what themag said, fitting a muffler or endcan alone will not give any gain in performance. go ahead and fit a decent muffler, if you want just the sporty sound.

Hi Jakky, An Exhaust tip is just an aesthetic fitment , it has nothing to do with performance
If you need a sporty sound you should go for an appropriate muffler also do note that such mods will effect your fuel efficiency.
