if you are going for autographix, or that sticker job, my suggestion would be try out black matt finish instead of silver on dash, as black would look much better with beige interiors then silver.

We almost got it changed. You can get it changed. The Hyundai people will do it for the whole car. Front dashboard, window sills, etc....

Cost: 14,000/- !!!!!!!!!

On learning the price, we scrapped the idea altogether.
Although an old thread, just thought of sharing the info.
Getz Centre Fascia(Black) is available for Rs.2200/- at HASC.

But whenever i look into the front wooden console it turns down.
I know exactly what you mean. I recently got it done for my Endy - I changed all the wood finished bits to a wine-red finish. I have posted a thread about the "Diesel Beast Phase 1" completion which outlines the complete thing.

If you only want the wooden piece done, you have the following options:
  • Replace the piece from Hyundai (approx. 2000)
  • Get the piece powder coated in the color of your choice (approx. 1500)
  • Carbon Fiber sticker (approx. 1000)

Please be very wary of paint-work. There are tons of people who do an absolutely shoddy job (there will be lumps on the finish, air bubbles etc.). Please ensure that the guy you go to can show you a completed piece for you to gauge the quality of the work. Also, most guys will charge you a bomb. I know the actual price since I negotiated every single piece in my Endy for painting. The costs are fairly low, unless the color you want requires them to mix paints (you will be paying for 2 cans as opposed to one).

Someone had mentioned you can get it done in original Carbon Fiber - this is not possible unless you are willing to pay a hefty amount for fabrication and raw material. The carbon fiber finish you see in most cars is actually not carbon fiber, but a sheet made to resemble carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is incredibly expensive (I had lofty dreams of Carboning some bits in my car. Dropped it due to the unjustifiable cost).

Hope this helps.
