Ver2 has two separate bulbs ( both H1) for high and low beam .

Don't know if other owners of this model have experienced a very weak low beam, one that just ends up being eaten up by other lights on the road.i find the visibility very poor for an SUV(albeit a soft roader).
  1. If i opt for a HID/Xenon kit ,do i have to buy 2 kits in essence because its separate bulbs for high/low?and whats the damage on my wallet ?
  2. Do we gets these kits for H1 bulbs?
  3. There's like a cap that sits on the current bulbs.I think that's to protect them from blinding the on coming. This aint part of the bulb but part of the whole headlight casing. Would this have to be removed for HID/Xenons to be effective?
  4. Manual says "HEADLIGHTS : H1 55w 12v" . what are my options for just bulb upgrades without relay.
  5. Im guessing since it only mentions the above that even high beam has 55w.Would it make sense upgrading this to 60w?

1. If you want to replace both beams (High+Low) you require 2 kits (4 Bulbs + 4 Ballasts).

2. Yes available pretty easily.

3. HID is plug and play, no need to bother about HL assembly. Leave it as it is.

4. Without relay you will have to stick to 55w bulbs. For HID all bulbs have the same wattage and they come with necessary wiring.

5. You can upgrade to higher then 60w with a relay. Switch both beams to some good bulbs and get the focusing done.
