I had an M1000 and was offered Rs.6k for my old engine in exchange for an Esteem engine. This price is for engine and gearbox. I don't see much of a point in doing this as the M1000 engine had 45bhp. If you can fork in an M1000 engine in an 800's engine bay I think you can squeeze in a Esteem engine.

Interesting project but looks like everything from suspension to brakes to tyres would need upgrades. Even still might not be as fun as driving around in a E-Zen.

One of my friend has already plonked the M1000 engine in the M800. It was a very torquey car with loads of low-end. Would make the car a lot peppier.
Whats more sensible is to put a esteem engine as the dimensions of the zen engine is the same as the esteem engine.
Else, you could save all the engine swap trouble by getting the 12v head of the alto/m800 5 speed on the current bottom. you will however need to change the piston. You can either run FI or a carb. It will sure be a fun car. Thats a 45bhp set-up.
