I was a proud owner of a Tata Sierra Non Turbo as well once. Had done following mods on it.

1. Over Sized Pistons
2. Larger Radiator
3. FFE
4. Alloys
5. Complete chrome bull bar and side bars
6. Two tone leather seats and door panels.
7. ICE with Pioneer 4 ch amp and woofer.

Too bad my brother sold it when I went abroad for further studies saying no need of an extra car.
Sold it for 70k as is 2 years back. Few memories attached here with miss it a lot :(

Hey thanks. FFE sound was very good beyond my expectation specially at lower RMPs. A lot of people used to stop me on the road and ask me where I got it done, if it was a petrol or diesel and stuff. Performance point of view I dint feel any difference (Reason behind this is Sierra already has a lot of torque at low rpms.) except the car was able to rev all the way upto 5 rpm unlike before.

It had cost me around 15k in 2004 with the turbo it should sound better ( I had faced some minor black smoke problem from time to time) but nothing major.

I don't own the bull anymore I have sold it. Is it still ok to post the pic on the community?

Hey everyone! I am sorry I could not update this thread from a long time. I have been away from TBhp and the internet in general due to a variety of reason. I hope that all is forgiven

The story so far on the Sierra, is that it is finally ready! I will have a few more pictures of the end product by end of this week. It looks very simple.. no extra bells and whistles, ahem... just a plain jane resurrection job... unlike the other eye popping trucks posted by other members in this thread!

Just have a look at the havoc rust has wrecked on the metal. It was beautifully done up eventually.

The door was replaced by a second hand one picked from shivajinagar.

All "puttied" up and ready to go into the paint booth

I will be posting more shortly... including the present restored avtaar!

Thanks for being patient!!!

Cheers

God you got lots of patience and you have created a lot of it in me. I would have gone mad if my car took this long for a restoration.
