Wow good to see the Race dynamics in new again.. So even Diesel engine guys can enjoy the Race dynamics power. I have seen a blue swift which is TC’d by Race dynamics (bharath’s car) it has a very good response and yesterday my self and karthik were near 18th cross CCD and there I noticed a SX4 orange color with turbo.. karthik told even that was from Race dynamics. I was just enjoying the pleasure of the RD (bike) but when I heard the blow off valve whistle it was like blood rushing into the head. But that guy did not take the start as expected.

@ripperego - yes there are options for that

@fieroid - yes dyno tests are happening very soon

@phamilyman

Does the FE drop significantly in different map settings?
*FE does vary with maps, its more to do with how heavy the right foot is. Aggresive maps makes you want to drive harder

More than smokiness - how is pollution (CO etc) changing?
*pollution levels are within norms

Is it truly plug/play - easy to remove before service?
*yes, it takes less than 10 mins to install or uninstall

Accelerated oil change/maintenance intervals?
*No, not relating to increased torque/power.

Has it been tested on older Commonrail systems (Accent CRDis/DiCOR)?
*Yes, but not extensively

@Mpower - The CD0801-PF is an add-on piggyback ECU.

Hi Karthik,

Is it possible to fit ECU for Fiesta TDCi ? Have you tested it? I am very much disappointed with low speed torque and willing to spend some money to improve it.

Thanks

Congrats RD,keep up the good work.

Any possibility of quoting an estimate for this?
How do you compare the performance against PETE'S box for DDIS?
Any timing recorded?
Change is top speed?

On the fly settings seem so cool.waiting for further reports

Ha, was waiting to see who would be the first to post up. Was asked to drive the car and give feedback on the products on it. The ECU is very good stuff, maps are phenomenally different and you can imagine using them in very different situations and settings. Unfortunately, the g-forces that one would otherwise experience were subdued by the beautiful suspension. The tyres, unfortunately, were absolute crap.

Great job, can't wait to see it in final production form.

That's some pretty rough 3600km, courtesy a lot of heavy right foots (feet?), including one of your's truly.

Dude, read the forum more often. That's the turbo SX4 that was posted a while ago.

Infractions: 0/1 (10)

Got to drive the car before I headed off to Goa. Basic problem of the swift has always been boosting peaking out at around 3100 rpm. Karthik's swift managed to hold boost cleanly upto 4100 rpm powering thru each revv. Was very impressed with the setup. Like he said, the map was a little too smoky for my liking, but I guess that can be rectified.

There were a couple of flat spots around 4k, but I am told final tuning is yet to be completed. As akshay mentioned the tires are not upto the mark.

I actually quite liked the HKS suspension put up on the swift. Though it costs an arm and a leg, and maybe more I liked the fact that its completely adjustable. Would love to see it perform on the track.

All in all, Karthik one hellava job. Keep up the good work.
