3.8 sec less for 0-100 is impressive.
I wonder what this will do for an elantra crdi, though stock elantra does 11.3 for 0-100.

I didnt have a Vbox- but, once upon a time, when my car was stock, I did do 13.8secs to 100kmph. Crude method of measuring though, so there's bound to have been a lot of errors.
Also I was/am still running 185/75/r15, unlike this car which is doing the same on 205s

I've been wondering if shifting by skipping 3rd gear will give a better time.
3rd gear runs out of breath and revs near 90kmph. So gears 1,2 and then 4. Not found the time to test that yet. 2nd gear will take me to 60 near redline, which is more than adequate for 4th gear to pick up from.

Dropping 3.8 secs of 0-100 is impressive
Could you mention the shift points you used please?

I still feel the 205's are slowing down the car a bit. I would stick with 195's.

Looks like you are over revving in 2nd and hence losing out on power on 3rd. Stick to shifting at around 3,400 on a stock ECU for best results.

@ rdkarthik

So.. the million $ question, now much is the expected "street" price for it ?
I guess this is the same thingy in Akshay's swift on the track day we had.

on the fly changing of mods that is just COOL.
Did't drive the car.

I was planning for a Petes thingy for my dad's car.
Now I'm wondering if I should wait a bit longer.

A comparison if you'd please.

rippergeo is the volunteering to give his peted swift for the comparison.

Hi guys,

I'm looking to get more performance from my swift ddis.

Should i install the

1. Pete's box

or

2. Race dynamics ecu ?

Has anyone had a feel of both of these products on a swift ddis....?

I'm looking for purely as much as possible increase in power that i can get. I don't care about fuel economy. I want POWER.... as much as i can get.

So which amongst the two options mentioned above would make me happy...?

Thanks in Anticipation.....

Somehow I missed this thread, I recently got the XM400 for my ddis swift- the four map switch is just too cool, switching from economy to P2 is switching on NOS. Tried timing manually with stopwatch- got some 2 seconds off the 100 km/hr timing with a best of 12.4 seconds. Low-speed driveability has improved massively too, feels like the turbo lag is greatly reduced and car starts pulling early when compared to stock in higher gears. The service support is good, and the guys tuned the ecu according to my driving style as well with a 30 minutes on the road session....
