Check out Shrivz's gallery here:

You can get one custom made on similar lines.

I was the first person who pushed Automech, Mumbai to make a strut brace for the Baleno.

Thanks to Vivek(Automech) - they fabricated one for me. & Another great thanks to Manish who spared his Baleno in Mumbai to get this done.

Technocrat, I checked your pics - that strut piping looks a tad thin to me.

Hi eapen,

Do you notice the difference after the fitting of the strut brace ? Is it considerable ? I've been toying with the idea of fitting one on my Esteem for quite a while, but have not managed to get down to doing it. Your inputs will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Added an additional engine mount to the Automech strut brace. Had the brace ends re-wielded to take on the extra vibration & load

Sure - Baleno has a tendency to understeer because of its size. This has reduced considerably.

My wife has an Alto so you can really compare the understeer to a smaller car which doesn't exhibit it that much.

What extra vibration and load are you referring Eapen ? I think you are already running the Koni's(yellow) if am not wrong and also the strut brace. So what kinda problems are you facing with the cornering of the car.

Strut Braces are the most commonly used suspension accessory in conjunction with the suspension. Mainly used to provide rigidity to the strut towers. Most current day cars come with independent struts and these tend to flex inwards.
A strut brace is mainly used to reduce this effect on the independent strut setup.
