Nhc Mods

Hi Guys

My friend is planning to get his NHC ( Non ZX) Modded

He has already decided to get a paintjob done ( Civic's purple )

Now he wants to get the following mods done.
  • K&N Filters ( not sure which one)
  • Free Flow Exhaust
  • Performance Spark plugs
  • Air Intake ( if its required )
can someone advice as to which brands to choose from in all these products and any price for the same?

Thanks in advance

Performance plugs will not make any difference at all to the performance. For the NHC it makes even less sense especially wince you will need double.

What's an air intake? If you mean cold air intake then you can go for that along with a conical air filter with all plumbing.

He is ready to spend about 25-30k on the stuff

K&N conical air filter right?

How much for the air filter and which air intake to go for?

If he goes for double the number of performance plugs , how much will they cost and which brand?

What vid6639 said, he wouldn't need performance plugs, there's lots of other much more useful mods that can be done before spark plugs need an upgrade. I'd rather go for head porting + polishing, no idea about the cost though .

Just ask your friend to get a petes filter and a free flow, though I wouldnt touch the hondas engine. Its meant for fuel efficiency and cannot be turned into a red light dragster.

Automech probably has a couple of distributors in Delhi, but they will charge their own cut too. If you have a friend hopping between Mumbai and Delhi, ask him to get it for you and get it fitted at any mechanic in your city.

I Would not suggest Automech, I hate that Buzzing sound, a viper FFE is far better and it can be tuned and the sound can be customized as well.

Green Cotton Air Filter with the dynamize pipe is what i would recommend. And you already know about Pete's Excellent customer support. A Green Wind filter costs 3800 and the Pipe costs 1750. A viper FFE should cost you around 10k including the headers.
Plugs maked no difference.

So as of now it is :

A FFE ( Milotec or Viper )
a Pete's Green Cotton Air filter

Will the pete's green cotton air filter work both as the filter and the cold air intake

Any more performance mods

Keep in mind its not not a VTEC.
