Interesting wheel upgrade. To be on the safer side, do check the handling before doing some high speeds.

HR wheels were 11 kg per piece ??
Yes thats what the HR dealer told me,and yes sir did all the tests,i have pay'd a big price before thanx to the tyres that busted at high speed cornering in some other car,so good tyres were my priority
.
I can switch 3lanes at 120,went all the way up to 160,smooth as safe. These tyres dont lock that easily. My driving confidence has increased now.

I thought the same, its the tyres that are more important, not the rims. waiting for the toyota wheel cap pics.
Will probably go the same way as you, get the toyota steel rims as a temp measure till the cash for the alloys materialises.
anyway- at 25000 kms, my 185/r14 potenza G3s are still going strong, will be while before i need to replace them.
Thanks and Pic's attached.

Wow! Congrats! 165 to 205 – that is a big upgrade.
Tell me any difference on the feeling on steering. Any harder?
And what about the steering return?

Steering is 10-20% heavier,Steering return is fine.Steering response rate has gone up.The steering does tell you, that it has grip.

Still waiting for a reply for the above question

Mean while i finally managed to get ALLOY'S for my car from HR. Having 15" s-drive earlier i got the same size alloy's.

Im fond of alloy's with lip so i choose these.

After fitting them on the tyre and on the car they seem a bit smaller than i expected they seem like 14" but nevertheless me likes!!!

The side profile of the tyre also seemed to have increased as the tyres are now on 7j.
Comments welcomed.
Here are just a few pic's due to lack of time. Will get if interested

they are looking small because of the lip alloys with lip generally look small as compared to the normal ones and as far the width of the rim is concerned 7 j is ideal for 205.

post some better pics
