Just incase you dont want to do extensive interior and exterior mods you can always go with the addon abs platic kit from carryboy, looks pretty decent imho. On the innova i've always preffered the stock interiors somehow, maybe just additional leather on the seats if required.

You want to do up a brand new Innova? My suggestion:

1. Black / white body colour + Neat set of alloys + good rubber + tints + slick numberplates.

2. Splurge on the interiors, soft leather et all. And get a really good ICE setup.

Classy & understated! I am not big on bodykits.

agree with what you said. but if you see some bodykits like the ones shinrai is selling. its not overdone like the carryboy one (IMO) but it still adds to the looks of the car.

Agree completely with GTO. The problem with body kits on Innovas is that since the gap between the wheel arch and the wheel is huge, the wheels look ridiculously small after fitment of a body kit. I would say that the money you save on the body kit can be utilised for other things in the car such as a good ICE setup, for instance.

Incidentally, I photoshopped an Innova just today. To make a kit look effective the Innova should ideally be having lowered suspension and bigger wheels. But this is NOT recommended for Indian conditions.

Have a look at the KitUp makeover for the Innova. I know its in Coimbatore, way off for you, but you should get some good ideas, and also check with them if they can ship you the kits that someone can fit for you.

Suggestions for my Toyota innova

hey guys!!

I am very happy that i am getting a new Toyota Innova Vx (8S) next week.

I have ordered for the following accessories.

1) Rear Spoilers
2) Scuff Plates
3) Rear Bumper Guard
4) Vibrasonic Roots Horn
5) Fabric Seat Cover
6) Chrome Beadings on the side
7) Teflon Coating
8) Under Chassis Painting
9) Fabric Floor and trunk Mats
10) Mud Guard Set
11) Muffler Cutter
12) Bumper Corner protector
13) 3M Sun Control Cooling Film

I need some suggestions on these accessories as follows

1) Which is the most decent horn that can be fitted on a innova. is roots vibrasonic good enough??. It should not be too loud but decent. and decent enough to be used within the city and highways.

2) i am planning to fix 3M film. So kindly suggest me the film that i used. The Toyota people suggested to go for RE35. What is your suggestion abiding RTO rules?

3) I cant do without reverse horn in the city. so kindly suggest me a good one that does not have film tunes.

4) I cant avoid the rear guard too. My car comes with a parking sensor. i want to know whether this guard would be a problem for the sensors.

5) How good is a muffler cutter.

I will be buying only genuine accessories, because my dad insists on that.

Need your help at the earliest, guys

Thanks in advance and regards,

Sujay

good, otherwise rear looks bland.

2) Scuff Plates
good, looks classy.

3) Rear Bumper Guard
BAD! your car will look like a taxi!

4) Vibrasonic Roots Horn
hope it sounds good.

5) Fabric Seat Cover
practical for our climate then leather.

6) Chrome Beadings on the side
the VX already comes with beadings, right?

7) Teflon Coating
8) Under Chassis Painting
both good in a new vehicle.

9) Fabric Floor and trunk Mats
10) Mud Guard Set
both should be standard, when will toyota learn?

11) Muffler Cutter
good, will look nice.

12) Bumper Corner protector
want to drive a taxi?

13) 3M Sun Control Cooling Film
good choice.

i use roots windtone 90 in my scorpio, very decent.

3) I cant do without reverse horn in the city. so kindly suggest me a good one that does not have film tunes.

why? "dhoom machale" is a good one! kidding...

4) I cant avoid the rear guard too. My car comes with a parking sensor. i want to know whether this guard would be a problem for the sensors.

if possible, avoid the read guards, its for... err... taxis!

5) How good is a muffler cutter.

its good in a way that it wont spoil the looks of your car.

finally sujay, just one humble suggestion-
select the right accessories sensibly & deck up your car so that it looks classy. just dont add all the available accessories in the market & give it a whacky look.

for example, rear bumper guard, chrome side beads & bumper corner protectors will NOT make your car classy.

Dear bro,

Thank you for your wonderful suggestions.

Now i have two minds on certain accessories.

About the rear bumper guard. My work place is near a flyover and i have seen numerous accidents on it. And most of the them, cars hitting the back side of another car or two wheeler driving so close to our back. So close that they will bang our back the moment we brake. Thats why i thought of going in to a rear bumper. Because if at all there is minor accidents, if there is a rear bumper, it would protect from denting and painting repair.

I have decided not to buy Corner protectors, bro. What you said is true, it would look like a taxi

And the chrome beading that i mentioned is the corner protector in chrome. and as you said, the top end does come with chrome.

hmmm dhoom machale. too much, bro. i will go for a simple one with a decent tone.

Even i had windtone horn in mind. Let me check it out, bro

once again thank you

regards

if you feel the rear guard is essential & may save you some money in future, you can opt for it.

but is the reverse horn really necessary?

yes, i forgot to mention this. go for spoilers without LEDs as ram said. the LED ones are not of good quality & mostly the LEDs stop functioning in 2-3 months! moreover, rain water seeps in them & makes the reflector black!
