super-chip is the best option for petrol vehicles.
There is also RD-ECU from Bangalore.check which is a feasible option.
See if you can source the OE sports skirts, spolier & indicators on the ORVM's(SXI) from the dealer.

Yes Mohit, parts are available in the UK. Infact I am looking for the vendors as a friend could soon be picking up a 1.6. The MRF Fiesta's are running the M1 engines. They are dynoed around 170bhp I guess. The complete engine is a bolt on and does cost a bomb.

and a new 1.6 is more than capable of 180km/h. I've seen it do more.
Petes has tarox rotor and brake pads.

I have no idea about superchip.

I have a doubt,i think Fiesta 1.6S do 0-100 km/hr less than 11 sec.

Not a bomb if you pick it up from a scrapyard. Fords are very popular in the UK and you'll find every possible part you need in a scrapyard.

Did you change the rear brakes as well? I'm thinking of getting discs on all four. Any idea if Brembo is available for the 1.6?

I've not really done a timed run on the 1.6. But if I do, I'll let you know

Its a motor that loves to rev, what the stock rev limit IIRC its around 7.5K or something. A good cam, and an ECU will see you good gains. Ford being popular there should be some aftermarket ECUs with harnesses available.

My 2 cents.A Pete's guy will be available in you city and can be easier to find than Brembo; and maybe cheaper.

But if you can get someone to bring it from outside India, then you can save a lot of $.
