Khan sir - Tri-Y is nothing but a 4x2x1 header. I have never come across a 4x2x2x1.

A quote from the first link you have posted

"In Stan's "TRI-Y DESIGN" headers, the primary tubes are paired in a 4-into-2 and 2-into-l formation. This increases the cylinder scavenging effect and improves engine breathing by utilizing the exhaust velocity of one cylinder to help the exhaust velocity of another."

The portion highlighted in bold is nothing but a 4x2x1. It is called a Tri-Y because it forms 3 'Y's.

What coating is that? Is that primer or paint (then why that colour) or some heat resistant material?

That's just the anti rust coating to prevent the rust on the full FFE.

1. Yes, the end can was also done by him.
2. Yes, the cat con has been removed.
3. Basically he replaces the header (in pics), reuses the long exhaust pipe, and replaces the end can. Along with this he replaces a small intermidiate pipe. So there are 3 pieces that are replced which you can carry in ur car's boot. Not a problem at all.

Rahul I don't have an idea, I wasn't there. I told zerocritical that he should get it done street spec for low-mid range only if he is planning on city use. I guess that's what he told shabbir.

He can confirm.

Cool, BTW guys, I've one small question, is it possible to have an FFE without removing the Cat-con? Or the cat-con must be removed to get the free flow?

@zerocritical: Congrats for the mods buddy. Am sure you would have fallen in love with your car all over again.

Any considerable change in the mileage??
