After Market Power Steering

One of my friends has a Chevrolet Tavera, base model. The car is 4+ years old and is a work horse in the truest sense. Its was used mainly for long distance trips, but now is being used in the city also. This is where the problem comes in.
See the base model is a super stripped down model and does not come with even a Power Steering. Whilst the missing power steering was not much of an issue on the highways, the need for the same is being felt in city driving.

I would like your valuable inputs in where I can get the power steering system fitted in the car in Mumbai. Since the car is running fine, they don't want to sell it and buy another one.

I have heard of some mechanic in Jogeshwari (W) on SV Road who supposedly fits brand new power steering system in cars. Has any one used his service?

Also what are the possible issues that we should be prepared for such modifications?

Thanks in advance!

Re: After Market Power Steering

Since the Tavera comes with a PS in higher variants, and there is not much difference in the front suspension, it should be a bolt on job, with minimal issues, IF done properly.

If the A.S.S is OK, then IMO, its the best place to get it installed with minimal headache.
