Let me know if this things really works....its it does i am getting it when i come back to bombay in december....but i'll only trust it after peter approves of it as Fast and SAFE Will ask around abt it here in the US in the meantime. Only reason i feel it will actually work is coz it has a money back gaurantee, not too many fraud companys give that.

My friend had brought a similar product from canada but named as electricsupercharger, basically it has to be installed in the intake pipe between throttle body and air filter, and operates only on wide open throttle through a micro sw ,power source from battery

they claim it gives a 1psi of boost and dyno proven H.P of about 5 bhp, i had installed in my vehicle for testing purpose but i didnt find any major difference since my vehicle didnt had a maf sensor, but only a t-map sensor which is inside the manifold , will work best with the intake which has M.A.F sensor cause according to their manual it should be installed just before M.A.F sensor , the product is still available with my friend lying unused and for sale.
their website is www.electricsupercharger.com

Well i am illegal to drive so i drive in ristricted areas like colony. Car is Optra though!!

By the way i cant try cause you need extensive testing material and not a stop watch only!!

Turbonator is a gimmick i guess!!

Sorry guys for the gap.

THE TURBONATOR IS A BIG GIMMICK. You would not feel any difference with its use, other than the lighter feel on your purse.

We tried it on the honda city, santro, lancer, etc. None of these engines show any gain that we could actually feel . Maybe there is a difference of a few bhp BUT I sisncerely couldnt feel it and beware guys it wont just fit in without any alterations. We went through a lot of blocks to get this thing inside the intake pipes. Guess it may show some difference on larger engines like the ones in US where it is primarily sold. Guess that is also the only reason why it sells there. For a smaller engine I guess a K&N Flter gives you a better output then the TURBONATOR. Was just like we all thought.

ON the whole a very effective marketing gimmick.

I was thinking of ordering one for my Accent (either a Turbonator / Vertec Cyclone) - The real question from the thread still remains un-answered.
Does it really work? If anyone has tested it, does anyone know the power hike it got or the FE raise the car got?

I am asking this again due to mixed signals from some seniors on the thread.

Please advice.

Its a scam guys... these electric superchargers,e-rams, vortex generators have been discussed to death all over the world.
Guess why turbos/superchargers are used driven off the exhaust/engine itself ?
The amount of electrical energy required to run an electrical supercharger would require more than a small battery.
And u dont need a dyno to prove this .. its very straightforward..

Re: The Turbonator - is this thing for real?

Theres a dealer in India now and he met me just yesterday and claims, it must be fit in the intake and he can prove a huge difference in the pick up, especially in Diesel engines. he suggested i fit it in the snorkel of my MM550D.???!! after i talk with him further, ill get back.
