Palio Wiper Blade size

Can anyone advise the size of the front wiper blades?

I am in the U.S. right now and would like to pick up a set of premium wiper blades for my 2002 GTX, but want to make sure of the exact size. Would appreciate it if someone could take a measuring tape and post the sizes of the front blades.

There are some really nice blades available here, and I am looking at either the Bosch Excel +, or Rain X Latitude.

There is a post earlier that says 21 inch & 18 inch. Can anyone verify these lengths with an accurate physical measurement?

Thanks,

Rudra & Carfreak,
Thanks for the replies. No rush, so just get me the measurements when you have a chance. But please try to take the measurements yourself with a tape-measure.

Thanks,

Did we manage to figure out the exact size? I wish to pickup the Michelin wiper blades for my Palio - Pylon Manufacturing Corporation.

RedMM540, are you still around the Bay area?

This pdf was posted elsewhere in the forum. It has the stock sizes for most of the cars.

Hope it helps.

Just adding to this post.

2 days ago, I noticed my Palio Stile 1.6 rear wiper was not working and the rear blade was facing down towards the road. I thought the wiper motor was an issue. So I dismantled the assembly and checked the motor (without the wiper attached), by switching on the rear wiper. The motor seemed to be working fine.
I then realised that someone(kids !!!) had forcefully pushed down the wiper arm and as a result, the motor shaft was turning, but was slipping inside the wiper. The screw hole of the rear wiper blade was clean as a slate and did not have any grooves. The teeth of the motor shaft, seems worn out too (perhaps as a result of the force applied).
I will be going to try a new rear wiper balde to check if that "holds" on to the shaft. If not, I might have to replace the wiper motor.
Can only the shaft be replaced ? Any idea of the cost of the whole assembly? It is Denso.
