What all can be done with Rs 3,000 in a Getz?

I will receive a Rs 3000 Service Coupon soon from TATA AIG. I am thinking of utilizing this amount to upgrade stuff in the car, rather than get servicing done (thats because I trust my local mechanic and his garage more than Hyundai a.s.s).

Right now, I can only think of upgrading the headlights to 100/90W along with appropriate relay kit. Although I am sure authorized service center will charge higher than market, but its ok since I will be using the coupon.

Any other thing that can be done?

guys it has to be from an authorised service centre.
I would suggest you get the coupon converted to cash. You can offer to pay anyone's service bill through the coupon and take cash in return.

Well said;Philips rallye 100/90 is Rs 150 per pair, at least till a month back(showroom prices would vary i suppose), what about relay cost?
You could go in for bumper protectors also,
Another option are parking sensors. Don't know whether getz requires them or not.
What about a nice thorough clean up, polishing, denting scrubing etc.

Phillips Rallye 100/90 costs somewhere around 160-185Rs. per bulb,i am using the same but i don't think it requires a Relay,as i am running directly in my headlight from past 1year,no delay in switching on/of lights and while using dipper, they are true VFM,and i think phillips comes will B&W

Tints are already there. Maybe front windscreen tint (how much does that cost?)

Ramie
Ramie bro, my car is Dark Blue in color. I dont know how much difference would blackening the B-pillar have! And I am quite opposed to any form of stickering. Infact, I have not even put GZ and Illusion stickers that came free with the sub and compos!

Could you post a pic of the door visor? I dont know how that looks. Is it like that arch on the window?

I have not heard of Jogi but nonetheless, open to meeting for a beer anytime over the weekend. My office is now in Fort, so traveling takes up most of my evenings during the weekdays!

That sounds like a cool idea. However, I doubt if the service center would allow such a thing? Have you tried this anywhere before?

Cleanup+Polish etc gets taken care of during routine servicing. Getz being a small hatch, I dont think I would need parking sensors.

Bumper protectors sounds good.

if any balance is left, you can ask for cans of oils, coolants, filter, etc which you can take home for future use.
other options in addition to the ones already mentioned could be:
car cover, mud flaps, matting, steering cover/knob, wider rear view mirror, ORVM theft guard.

1. Seat covers.
2. Remote locking.
3. Power windows (you will have to pay for the difference - another 12K, at least)

sarkar, only those things which will outside also sell for MRP. so besides headlight upgrade, only waxes, polishes make sense.

best is pour in MOBIL 1 oil .. that's the best you can do to your getz and forget to change oil for next 15k kms.

second option is too add some money & add green air filter
