Choices

Go for the 100/90W bulb or the 130/100W. Be sure to put in relay. Total cost is 700-1000Rs depending on what bulbs you are on. You can also go in for Philips vision+ which is 60/55W and gives clear white light and is legal too(In india wattage is specified in rules).

Fog lamps will give cops a reason to harrass you, but unless you are full beaming in city cops wont stop you. I have 130/110 in mine and drive in low beam in city. Never had any trouble.

Some BHPians will tell you about holder melting due to heat on 130/100W, but luckily i did not face that. I guess you go for 100/90W to be on the safe side.

Thanked: Once

rtech checked with the showroom. they come for 2213 a piece now.
i went and finally fitted 100/90 white light bulbs (similar to drifter) with relay. cost me 990 total.
did it make a difference? the lights become phenomenal. i can see a hell lot better. would recomend it to anyone.
does it disturb fellow motorists? only when the far beam is on. but then that distracts others with the normal 60/55 bulb also.
thanks guys for all your help and comments.

hey people everyone who's been talking in here about xenon's well i only had one person in here coming up the right way...as the original xenon's are gas illuminated and no they don't cost 3k,4k,5k not even 10k ...i stock these lights...and well the bulb H7 is priced at 27,500 with the HID unit and the H4 is priced at 32,500..well the H7 only gives a low beam and the H4 gives the optional switch between high and low beam..and trust me the actual xenon's are absolute bliss..hehe..obviously not to other's but to the driver...yea it is..well they both the H4 & H7 xenon's come with HID unit's which regulate the power supply and the stability if the light at any given point of time...so if you do need any other info...just pm me...cheers...!!
