I am 6'3 and I drive the Bolero as one of my rides, I have never felt the thigh support thing an issue. and to mention i have a 00 model with bench seat upfront. I have clocked some amazing long distances but yes it is not the most comfortable but not a pain either.

@ Torqy - With all windows rolled up the Bolero is not that loud inside; there definitely is a low frequency booming noise while accelerating; but not loud enough to drown out music. The clank from the engine is very sharp from the outside but is not than evident inside. But Yes! You need to crank the volume up quite a bit to overcome all the ambient noise.

Have heard that the Peugeot engined Boleros are much less noisier that the DI ones.

@ Hemanth - I really feel like i will fall over from the front seats; I really don't feel "connected". The stock seat lacks support; but there is a slight improvement after the seat cover was redone with foam support. Nevertheless I'm looking out for a nice pair of front seats.

Does anyone know what seats are these? I found them in T-bhp long time back; can't seem to find the thread now!

I am only around 6', but it's a real pain for me to drive long distances. A modification is really required for the front seats

@Jose
How tall are you? I know you will definitely do something with your seats on your ride! Keep posting the modifications you are doing.

Will raising the whole seat frame by around 40 - 50 mm help and give under thigh support? Though Chaxy's seats looks excellent, from the picture I conclude that it is very low. I really need your help in getting it done in Chennai. Mahindra Dealers recommended "Koyas" in Coimbatore!

KOYAS are the upholstery specialists. In my hometown (Palakkad, Kerala) almost all the modded Ambys (meaning Diesel Engine, Gypsy Wheels, Floorshift Gear) had Koyas seats! They've been in this business since the 80's...maybe even earlier.

Quite Puny! 5 feet 3

Adding foam around the seat edges should improve thigh support; any upholstery guy will go it for you. The stock Bolero seats lack any support and feels like sitting on a bench! The seats on mine have foam on the edges and it surely feels better.

In Kerala; Modded upholstery = KOYAS ; tough there are upholstery shops just about everywhere in the state; none seem to have build a brand like KOYAS!
