Re: Front windscreen sunfilm?

I got in touch with the distributor for Garware, but he has no clue about the Supreme series. He keeps insisting on Arctic Shield. Being the distributor, I can't convince him that a new product has been introduced in the company he deals with.

This has been the experience ofa friend from a showroom near by - kept pushing artic shield and ice shield. He's taken a pause now to decide until he gets back to Bangalore.

You mind confirming if you see any difference in the headlight throws. I've heard they reduce even our visibility to see through properly. In this case, LED headlights may not appear bright enough in the night as the sheet cuts through the glare majorly. Thanks in advance

Re: Front windscreen sunfilm?

Please recommend a reputable sunfilm installer in the Delhi NCR

Second, what brand will be suitable for the sides and back that is also reasonably priced? My budget for an SUV is roughly 10k-12k.

Nothing significant. There is some glare, especially in the night, but it’s nothing to complain about. However, my night drives so far have been limited to city runs, so I’m not sure if there is any difficulty during highway night drives. Should be alright is my assumption.

I've been using sunfilms since 2009 in my cars. I've never had issues with visibility at night. I've used Garware ice cool shield(70%) for the windshields, and were good for 8 and 6 years in my previous cars. No scratches, no peeling, no scattering of light, no reduction in visibility at night.

Not a huge difference. Drove from the afternoon to midnight. The cabin feels much better, and hardly any glare. It did take some getting used to the slightly different color. Helios is due for some interior detailing and wash, the windscreen is dusty. I'm hoping it gets better.

Hi, I got 3M sunfilm installed on front windscreen post which night driving is better now. Vehicle also stays cool during hot sunny days.

Re: Front windscreen sunfilm?

I installed solar shield diamond green 75 series sunfilm on my octavia last month. Film was installed for all windows . This film is on par with 3m cr70. Having 3m cr70 on my other car hepls to make this comparison. The best part of the film is the greenish tint which it gives to the windows at the same being lighter in shade than 3m.
3M CR70 for entire car was quoted at approximately Rs. 30000. Purchased film from the importer himself Mr. A K Singh. (AK automotive pvt. ltd.) .Front windscreen sunfilm?-img20230617wa00221.jpg

I'm confused. Are we talking about the Solar Shield or 3M here?

Re: Front windscreen sunfilm?

Any leads for a reliable Garware reseller/distributor in Delhi NCR? I tried to get the new Supreme series from a reputable accessories guy in Noida Sector 16, but he is unaware of any new offerings from Garware, and keeps suggesting Ice Shield. Don't want to go for 3M CR70 for the entire car as that's expensive.

Also, i saw the Skoda Octavia post above, and now I feel getting a green tinted one might be better than a grey/dark colour. Would appreciate if someone could help me with my search.

Forget about the accessories shop, even the direct distributor didn't know about Supreme Series, and was insisting on Ice cool shield.

3M quote was Rs.30000 to Rs.34000 depending on cr70 or cr90 combo.
