I am also planning to install RE 50 on the sides and back of my linea.
Hows the film and the cooling. Is it any good and worth it?

Cheers

The installer told me to put Llumar Platinum series Steel /Neutral 50 instead of 3M as it is a thicker film and also has better heat rejection though on paper specs are the same as RE50.
Any suggestions/ comments.
I too have CR70 on the front of my car with RE50 on the sides & rear. A lotta dealers tried to convince me for Llumar, but reviews on the forum weren't as conclusively confident about the film. From what i recall, Llumar has a slightly higher tint to it compared to the 3M films of the same VLT, maybe useful for guys wanting a darker shade of glasses for their car's "looks"

The film is amazing, gives a great reflective look especially in the afternoon & evening with the sun behind you, else its quite clear through.
AC cooling has definitely gotten better after the films & even the morning sun shining through has become tolerable.
I planned to get RE35 initially since the film looks just as transparent as the 50's range on Garware or some other brands. But, the dealer & my brother disapproved. Just a day after putting up the RE50, i got pulled over for a random film check. Reading on the cop's meter was 52% VLT
Drove away knowing i'd made the right choice

Will appreciate it if someone could help me with the prices of 3M CR70 and RE70 (for a Swift's front windshield) that could be haggled from Sri Balaji Agancies in Chennai. PMs will be nice too if you prefer. Hoping to have it done in the next few days. Gracias Guys.

I checked with V-Cool and they said that they would charge Rs 43000 for the BMW 320d and Rs 39000 for the Superb. f/r windshields, windows. Diamond range, which they claim is their top range.

I checked costs with V-Cool. They quoted Rs 43,000 for the BMW 320d and Rs 39,000 for the Skoda Superb -- f/r windshields + windows. They will use the Diamond range, which they claim is their top range. BMW dealer had quoted Rs 55,000.

Authorized 3M sun film dealer in Cochin is AM Distributors. Visit there retail shop, AutoMate (Near Chakkaraparambu Bus Stop, on the service road of NH47 Palarivattom-Vyttila stretch) They confirmed to give a Demo.

V-Kool office is in Nettur, on Vyttila-Aroor NH47 stretch, near Nissan dealership

Please PM/give me a feedback if you are visiting them.

Naveen,

IIRC, Automate guys quoted me 6K for 3M front windshield film for my M800.

Thanks,

@NaveenRaju
For NHC windshield they told me 6200/- with 3M CR70.
V-Kool guys quoted 12k
As Jose also got 6k 3M quote for M800, the price for Swift also will be around that.
